With SAMS you will be able to email a confirmation of the events the individual is registered for directly from the record, provided you have a MAPI compliant messaging system (such as Outlook).
Access email through the sub-menu by either:
right-clicking and select email confirmation OR
hitting F3 - then select M.
The Email is automatically generated and sent to the attendee's email address. The message should be added to your Outlook Sent folder (or similar email software). Here is a sample of the confirmation email:
