In the Individual record, right click and choose Certification Information from the Submenu.
When you click on to add Certification information, SAMS will add the Individual's unique id number.
If the individual is a member, the member status is displayed here.
Simply choose a Fee Code from the pop-up; SAMS inserts the code and displays a description of the Fee Code for you. To view the pop-up, click on the ellipsis button and select the appropriate choice (for example Member vs. Non-Member) and click on OK. Fee codes and descriptions are defined using the Certification Fees option of the Lookup menu for Certification.
Choose the Certification type by clicking on the ellipsis button and selecting the appropriate choice and click on OK. Certification types and descriptions are defined using the Certification Types option of the Lookup menu for Certification.
Enter the certificate number appropriate for your organization.
SAMS auto fills with the total of points from the Courses the individual has earned.
Enter a code describing the status of the individual.
Enter a code describing the type of certification mail the individual should receive.
If the individual is a student, check this box.
Enter the date of certification. Click on the down arrow to choose from the popup calendar.
Enter the date the certification will expire. This date is usually 1 - 2 years from the certification date.
Enter the date the certification was reinstated.
Enter the date when notice was sent regarding certification.
Enter date the application for certification was received.
Enter the date the individual is eligible for certification.
If it applies, enter the date the eligibility for certification will expire.
SAMS automatically updates this field from the payments tab.
SAMS will insert the users initials and date of the last person who edited this record.
