1. Logoff everybody who is on SAMS and shut down all the webapps (basically nobody should be connected to the database server)
2. Open the data architect (arc32.exe)
3. Click on Tools->Advantage Database Server Management
4. In the edit box labeled "Server Drive" enter the drive letter of where the database is (e.g. Q:) and click on the hand.
5. Now you should be able to change the configuration and other parameters.
