Locate the attendee
Change the quantity within the event listing to zero. This will change the amount due to zero, thus creating a credit balance.
Right-click - go to payments
Go to the add payment tab - - do not hit the add (+) button
Select the "enter adjustment" button
Enter the payment type = ADJ
Enter the adjustment amount
Select the event with a credit balance in the left-hand window
Choose the save adjustment button.
