No Default Mail Client


Microsoft Outlook error message....

Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request.  Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.  Or you can open Internet Explorer, select tools > internet options.  Click the Programs tab and set the email field to Microsoft Outlook.  Click ok.


Then SAMS error message....

There is no MAPI Client Library (like MS Outlook) installed, or it is not the default MAPI client!  (You will likely receive this if you do not use Outlook for your email.)


If you receive either of the above messages,

Within SAMS, please go to utilities > users > data tab.  You must un-check "Use Extended MAPI" (on the right hand side).

This process must be completed for each user at your association that is NOT using Microsoft Outlook as their default email program.  (For example:  GroupWise, Eudora, Outlook Express)
