This update will should take a while to run!
Please email this readme.txt to all SAMS users. It is located in the q:\dapps\memb directory.
1. Employment History Screen -
Increased size of grid and moved all fields below grid.
2. Expo Registration Screen -
Added a pop-up menu item, "All records with a blank User ID". Use this menu item to set a filter equal to records that have not been called.
3. Trade Membership Screen -
Added two new fields on the service tab, Username and Password.
When a Membership record is deleted and the individual record is also deleted, the individual notes will now be deleted. They were not being deleted before.
4. Association Information Screen -
Increased the size of the version no field so that the whole version number will be displayed.
5. Certification Screen -
Added new fields CCM Final Score and Module 1-9. These fields are used to record test scores.
6. Email Screens -
Entering multiple emails in the CC box will no longer display an error message. Use a semicolon (;) to separate multiple email addresses.
7. SAMS Login Screens -
We have plugged a security leak therefore the sequence in which the login screens appear has changed. The login screen will now appear before the main program screen.
8. Report Selection Screen -
Corrected a problem which produces a stack overflow error message.
9. Individual Screen -
Fixed a problem where the country fields were not being switched properly when the Switch Addresses menu item was selected.
New live spell checker for memo fields.
10. Print Meeting Badges -
Fixed a problem where the meetingno field, in the temporary file used to print badges, was set to 3 instead of 4 characters.
11. Booth Screen -
Added two new fields, Amount 5 and Amount 5 Description.
12. Expo Information Screen -
Added Non-Member attribute fees.
Added five text fields, pavilion1-5 to be used to enter Pavilion names. These fields will be displayed on the Expo2 tab in the exhibitor screen.
Added new check box, Calc No Badges by Vol?, which determines whether the number of comp badges is computed off of the number of booths or the total volume.
13. Exhibitor Screen -
Added five new check boxes which are used to track exhibitors who are participating in pavilions. Added Appointment email address field.
14. Combine 2 ID Numbers -
Changed SAMS so that the pmembchg table is now being combined.
15. AOA Form -
Added three new fields, Allopathc1, Allopathc2 and Allopathc3. Use these field to indicate if a physician is Allopathic Certified for each practice.
16. Event Screen -
Added evaluation question tab. Use these fields to build the questions that will be asked on the event evaluation screen.
Added a sub-menu item - Evaluations. Enter event evaluations in this screen for the selected event. Evaluations are linked to each event, not each speaker.
New live spell checker for memo fields.
17. Booth Rate Code -
Added new field, calconvol. This field should be set to true when the booth amount is calculated on volume.
18. Meetings Utility Menu -
Added a new menu, "Copy Current Meeting to New Meeting". Use this utility to copy an old meeting to a new meeting. The Meeting Info and Events tables are copied to the new meeting. After the new meeting has been created, change the necessary information in the meeting info and events screens.
Changed the "Update Individual History" menu item so that it now ask if you want to include the CEU hours.
19. Load LDS Data -
Improved the way the load handles old records. Old data such as a legislator's profile will be retained now.
The legislative load section will now load the LDS county table. This table can be used in reports when selecting individual by county.
The LDS Zip Code District table contains the county number and the ldscnty table contains the county name.
20. Leg Screen -
The list of other legislators on the same committee will now be displayed in alphabetical order.
21. Added a new menu item under Reports, COI/PAC, Legislators by City.
Running this menu item creates a file named legbycity. This file will list all legislators for a specific trade member.
22. PAC Lookup Codes -
Added a new lookup table, LDSCNTY. This table contains the county number and county name that relates to LDS's Zip Code District table.
23. No more RTF formatting -
New in this release is a new live spell checker for all note and memo fields. All misspelled words are indicated by a red squiggly line. You can add words to the dictionary by right clicking on the unrecognized word. Right clicking on a misspelled word will also display possible correct words. This new spell checker is a lot faster than the old checker and uses less memory. You can also double click on memo fields to popup a full screen text editor. You have the ability to print the memo field data from the text editor.
