This update could take a while to run!
Please email this readme.txt to all SAMS users. It is located in the q:\dapps\memb directory.
1. CEU Batch Entry Screen - (under Utilities/Meetings/Enter CEU Information)
Corrected problem where the bell went off after exiting each field.
Added code so that CEU hours can not be entered twice for the same attendee.
Added field, CEU Hours. This field will default to the event's CEU hours but it can be changed, if necessary, during data entry.
2. Attendee Screen -
Added new field, "Key" which displays the unique Attendee Key identifier.
Changed the "Email Confirmation" procedure so that only events with the "Print on email Conf?" field turned on will be displayed in the confirmation.
Clicking on the Received Badge will now update the Picked Up Date field.
Increased the number of characters the position field allows on the screen from 40 to 50.
Changed the way data is added for each event. It should be much easier and a lot more intuitive now. Use F8 and F9 to add and save data quickly.
The Print Guest Badge menu item will now print the guest's badge name on the badge.
The navigation bar is now working correctly when the Guest Tab has been selected.
3. Student Screen
Added a new field, monemail, which is used to store the monitor's email address.
Increased monaddress field from 30 to 34 characters.
Changed grade field so that it will now accept a single 0 (zero).
4. Meeting Info Screen
Added new field, cancelfee. The Cancel Fee field is used in the Meeting Registration web application.
Added new field, norefdate. The Date after which no refunds will be issued is used in the Meeting Registration web application.
5. Membership Screen
Division Tab - Added contact field to division table.
Pop-up Menu - Added menu item to display Masters Only or All Records or Only Active Members.
6. Exhibitor Screen -
The note type field is now a pull-down.
7. Order Product Screen -
Added a new field, Royalty Percent. Use this field to enter the percentage of royalty that is to be paid for each product.
8. Event Screen -
Added a total due and a balance field to show the current balances of each event on the Financial tab.
Added a new option field sponsorev, which indicates if the event is a sponsorship event. Some users like to set up one event for all of their sponsorships and be able to change the fee while adding the event.
7. Trade Member Payment Screen -
Fixed a problem that was causing a '5/' is not a valid integer value error message to appear.
8. Organization Screen -
Added new "Def Memb Display to Master?" check-box. This field is used in the trade member module to default the member form to display only masters when it is opened.
9. Texas PAC Electronic Reporting Screen -
Output pdp file complies with Version 13 of the Texas Ethics Commission software except for the entries necessary for out-of-state transactions. If your association reports any out-of-state transactions, please let us know as soon as possible.
Added a new check box, Original Report Not Late.
10. Call Back Screen -
The region field is now being updated properly when a call back record is added and when an individual's region has changed.
Added two new pop-up menu items - Open Individual Web Page and Open Member Web Page.
11. Individual Screen -
Added a new pop-up menu item, "Group Email Maintenance". Use this screen to add individuals to email groups.
12. Utilities/Group Email-Fax/Maintenance Email Group Maintenance Screen-
New screen used to create and delete email groups. This table is used to define email groups. Email groups can be added to each individual or can be dynamic by entering a SQL statement into the sql code field. Add codes to individuals using the new pop-up menu item, "Group Email Maintenance" in the individual screen. If you want emails to read the database and pull records each time you run that group, enter a SQL code statement.
13. History Code Lookup Table -
When you change a history code description in the history code lookup table, the history table's description field will now be updated for each individual. A question will be displayed asking you if you want the history table updated.
14. PDP Form -
Added Contribution date field.
15. PDP Match Form -
Added Contribution date field and a check-box, Purge PDP file which purges the previous data from the pdp file.
16. Individual, Member and Exhibitor Notes -
Fixed a problem where users w/o proper security could double-click on the notes field which then caused an error to be displayed. Do not worry, they could not change the notes even though they were able to double click on it.
17. PAC Screen -
Added new field use2ndaddr. This field can be used in a report formula to pull an individual's second address when generating PAC mailings.
18. Utilities Menu -
Under Expo a new menu, "Copy Floor Plan form Previous Expo" was added. Use this menu item to create a new floor plan from a previous year. Be sure and update your new booth rate table before running this option.
19. Accounting Interface -
The reverse batch option will no longer blank out the batch number. Only the posted date field will be cleared.
20. Events Screen -
Added a new field, Change Quantity? This field is used in the On-line Meetings Registration Web Application to turn on or off the quantity field. If this field is checked, the user is able to change the quantity amounts when adding events.
21. GL Interface -
Added Membership Billing selection item. This is used to post the Trade Member billed amounts to each members AR account in Great Plains.
22. Trade Member Dues Table -
Added GLDebit and GLCredit fields. These fields are used in the Great Plains accounting interface.
Added NatlAmt, StAmt, PACAmt fields. These fields are used in reports to show payment distribution amounts.
