Once a meeting is over and you are not going to keep this meeting information, SAMS will create a history record for the individual that attended this meeting and then delete the meeting and the functions. If you are going to keep this meeting, you can add the meeting code to the individual's history and/or update the individual's activity field.
Gives you the option of adding a history code (the meeting number) to each attendee of the meeting. With the history code, you will be able to create reports.
If you do not need to create reports for future target marketing (for example a Board meeting), but you do want to track the individuals that attended the meeting, update the activity field.
